The biggest complaint regarding taking pictures is when the object sudden moves while the shutter is releasing. This does get annoying and can ruin the shot. The best way to avoid this is by holding the camera steady and depressing shutter button slowly and easily. You need to remember when taking pictures that the closer you are to the object (zoom in) the larger the lens’ focal length will be. When you zoom back out the focal length is reduced. Digital camera manufacturers recommend you hold you camera at a shutter speed that is lower than your lens’ focal length. Exposure can cause many different effects to your picture; some good and some bad. Depending on the scene and object, you may want to control the exposure yourself. Exposure itself allows the image to become either too light, light enough, or too dark. In order to control the amount of exposure in your image, you just need to adjust your exposure level by using your exposure compensation control.
