Taking the best picture involves many things from the right shutter speed to the aperture size. But the most important part of it is the pixel and image size. The pixel and image size must be of the right type in order to take great pictures. If you know your camera does not take quality pictures, perhaps your camera does not have the hardware inside to adequately take the right image. Having a camera that provides the proper amount of image quality is imperative to taking great pictures. Therefore, pixel and image size is important. There are factors involved in getting the best picture. These factors include the camera itself and the way the image is recorded. Here are some areas you need to be aware of in order to get the right camera that will give you the best quality picture:

• Image sensor: The image sensor has a lot to do with the quality of the pictures that come out of the camera. This is because the image sensor is what takes the picture. You have to know the type of sensors available and what makes them different so you’ll know which camera is better for your picture taken needs.
• Image Compression: Another area dealing with image size is image compression. You may not think this has anything to do with image size, but it does. If your camera has image compression built in this feature has to be configured to provide the highest quality output possible. If the picture that comes out of the camera has poor quality, perhaps the compression is off or not set correctly.
• File formats: File formats can have an impact on the way the camera looks. If the file is saved in a certain image, the quality can be poor. It really depends on whether you want the image to be small so as to upload quickly, or better quality and take more time to upload or download.
• Preview Screens and Viewfinders: Sometimes preview screens or viewfinders can distort the way our image may look, making us think the image size will be wrong. This would cause us to adjust our camera and perhaps take in less or more light then we should. In the end, this could also affect the quality of our pictures. Having a viewfinder that is made of good quality material will allow you to view your image more clearly.
• Lens: Lens can also have an affect on the image quality of a picture. If the lens is too dirty, too short, too large, or the speed is off, the amount of light entering the camera will be off. This can and will affect the quality of the pictures when developed.
