Nikon is known for film scanners and film cameras, but they know manufacture digital cameras. They provide a line of SLR and compact cameras. Some of their lines include:

• Nikon D200: This is Nikon’s newest digital camera. This camera offers high-precision and high performance using a 10.2 Megapixels DX format CCD image sensor. The image sensor features a 4-channel high-speed data output to provide the quickest response. It has a large 2.5 inch LCD monitor with 170 degree viewing. The shutter speed ranges from 30 to 1/8,000 sec. It also comes with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.
• Coolpix P3: Here is one of their compact lines. It has an 8.1 Megapixels CCD with a 3.5x optical zoom lens. It comes with a 23MB internal memory and a SD memory card.
