Most digital cameras, especially those at the low end of the price scale don’t have interchangeable lenses, so these types of camera came with the following:
• Lens converters: Unfortunately, you can’t change lenses on many cameras. But with new camera you can screw on an attachment known as a lens converter. In this matter you can add wide-angle or telephoto lens converters without having to go out and buy these and lenses.
• Interchangeable lenses: Many new, upscale digital cameras came with the ability to replace the lens with interchangeable lenses. This made it easier for professional photographers to work with it. The only drawback to this type of lens is with the focal length. In order for this type of lens to work with these cameras, the image sensor had to be built at the same size and shape as a frame of 35mm film. The only problem with making these lenses is the expense of it.
• Image stabilization: The one thing that photographers don’t like is taking pictures with their cameras and shaking their hands just when the picture is taken. This causes the picture to be blurred. In this situation, they use tripods or some other type of camera support to help hold it. However, the newer cameras have lenses that include image stabilization. This way gyro sensors notice the movement of the camera and engage an image stabilization lens group into place to keep the image steady while on the sensor.
