• Downloading images: Many digital cameras give you the option to download your images to your PC. As you may be aware there are many types of devices you can use to download the images. You just have to choose which one to go with.
• Image Compression: Digital cameras usually have image compression built-in, but there may be some that offer extended compression features that allow more compression options. You’ll have to look at your camera’s users manual to see if you have this feature.
• File formats: Most digital cameras have many file saving formats, while there may be some that don’t. When looking for a digital camera, you need to look for the type of camera that offers the format you are looking for.
• Preview screens and viewfinders: Each digital camera uses some device to allow the picture taker to see the image before the picture is taken. In most cases this is a preview screen or viewfinder. In a good digital camera, the preview screen or viewfinder will be of such good quality to provide a better picture.
• Other features: Besides the above features, there are other features you may want your camera to have including its look and feel, size and weight, exposure settings, and more.
