Like many towns and cities on the grow, Denmark was to share the same luxury with the first railway line being opened in 1847. The route was from Copenhagen to Roskilde and this was to be the start of many great transportation developments. Travel times were greatly reduced and this was slowly making people stand up and recognize Denmark as a nation on the grow. It was a slow process for the Danes but due to their motivation to keep going, it has today set it up as a small stabilised environment.

Top Fact: Over the centuries there was a decline in passengers that took the first trains but over the last few decades, the lines have greatly improved since the first designs were created and the number of people travelling this way is a lot higher than it ever has been.
