Denmark has seen many great artists produce outstanding paints and sculptures throughout the centuries and they became household names during their lifetime by creating masterpieces that everyone enjoyed.

Such works didn’t appear until the 18th century when Bertel Thorvaldsen the most famous Danish sculpture appeared on the scene and from this time, many musicians such as composer C.E.F. Weyse introduced beautiful music to the nation and this secure Denmark as a place of national literature.

Top Fact: There are many other great artists from the Danish vicinity and despite the arrival of great music and art arriving in the 18th century, it was to see a rapid increase and after this time, there was no stopping those all important budding artists.
