AM and PM Activity

If you want a day out with a bit of variety then I would pay a visit to the Arbejdermuseet (The Workers Museum) located on Romersgade, Copenhagen, it gives you the details of how the working era once lived and what they had to do to make enough money to survive. It may surprise many because during the Industrial Age to the present day, times have changed greatly and the trip will take you through the art, culture, working life and much more of these eras.

As an extra perk, there is an onsite restaurant that offers cuisine from the time of a certain era and this will prove to be very interesting because you could eat how the Industrial Age community did. The museum is open from 10am to 4pm daily and this is something everyone will enjoy if you want to learn more about the Danish culture. For more information you can refer to the website www.arbejdermuseet.dk which will provide you all the details you need to know.

Dinner

The Ida Davidsen restaurant offers the number one choice in traditional Danish cuisine. There is a wide variety of gourmet food available on the menu known as a smoreebrod (Smorgasbord too non-Danish) it consists of a wide range of fish, seafood and other little delights and this would be suitable for a family that cannot decide what to have. The restaurant has been in existence for over five generations and it is has been claimed that Ida offers the longest smorgasbord in Denmark which measures in at over six feet long (2 meters)

The restaurant is only open until 4pm Monday – Friday but you can have an early dinner and after eating the famous smorgasbord, you certainly won’t get hungry any time. You can contact the restaurant should you have any queries on Tel: 3391 3655; E-mail: ida.davidsen@cirque.dk.
