It is difficult to define exactly what makes a Dane because like everyone else, an individual is different. It is common for the Danish community to be quite reserved in a lot of their mannerisms and it may take a while getting to know a Danish individual but there are very friendly.
It is also said that they are fun loving but also very hard working, if a job needs doing then you can guarantee it will be done. You will see from visiting the nation that Denmark is very clean and this is because the Danes themselves have high standards of cleanliness and in terms of meeting people, these are one of the top civilisations to be in acquaintance with.
Many Danish individuals do speak English but like with other countries, there will be some parts where no-one speaks English and if you are armed with a dictionary then you will be fine and they will appreciate you for your efforts.
