Danish for Fyn, this island is the second largest in Denmark and it does have a large population of just fewer than half a million people. The main city is Odsense which is connected to the sea via canal which isn’t really used. The Odense Steel Shipyard has recently been relocated but it has put it on the map as an economical environment on the increase.

It is linked to several smaller islands and with several services that offer transport throughout the area, it can take you through to the mainland with no problems and is ideally located for complete countrywide travel.
