The Bornholm area is the most easterly of regions throughout Denmark and this is the location that benefits from the sun rising each days and over 45,000 islanders take advantage of the first few hours of sun and the island is sheltered by southern Sweden, there are more hours of sunlight than the rest of Denmark and there are many types of fruit and flowers that can only be found in this region.

This is a beautiful place to visit and if you want to take advantage of the extra sunshine hours along with unusual flowers and other sights, it can make a great day out to sit on a quiet piece of land and relax.

Top Tip: The Bornholm area is an ideal place to settle down for a picnic and it is one place that you should take a camera because with the outstanding views available, it offers an excellent change to take great pictures of the countrywide and wildlife that reside there. It gives a different view to what is known as a major educational and science based country.
