The island of Fyn has a wide choice of museums throughout this great area and one place you should definitely make a beeline for is the Funen Village (Den Fynske Landsby) in Odense.

It gives you the chance to visit this historical village and this is one place visited by Christian Andersen so you can follow in his footsteps and enjoy the great scenery this small village has to offer. It is found on one of the furthest away islands but for a day trip, it has views on the North Sea at the same time and I can honestly say, you won’t be disappointed.

Top Tip: There are plenty of other attractions available throughout the island and one thing that surprises many people are the great and lengthy beaches available. The Danes take pride in clean living and as a result, you can guarantee that it will all be unspoilt land.
