If one is going to have a short stay in Delaware, it’s one of the better states to choose for a brief vacation. Not only is Delaware a sales tax-free state, but it’s only about three hours from the northern parks to the southern beaches. In between these borders, Delaware boasts fine cities, historical landmarks, beautiful parks and scenic drives. And of course, tax free shopping.
Delaware’s three counties have been called a small slice of the American pie, as each is representative of classic Americana. Businesses and financial centers thrive in Wilmington, the agricultural industry keeps the economy running in the midlands, and the beaches offer a fun stop with plenty to do and see. Delaware has so much to sample that one might find a few days to be just barely enough to enjoy the state.
