The typical notebook case is a black over-the-shoulder case that holds the notebook, along with power cords, papers, and anything else that you can fit in there. You can get this in vinyl, leather, and cloth. There are also other cases that are being produced by lady accessory companies out there that look much like a purse, but are designed to protect your laptop. And also there are companies designing bags that look like a messenger bag or a backpack that are used to store your notebook.
The second accessory that is out there is the notebook mouse. Though many people will simply use the mice that they had leftover from their last desktop computer, these are not always the best things for usability. Notebook mice are intended to be small and light, just like the computer. They are usually wireless with infrared technology that is connected through a USB port. These mice can usually be powered either by disposable batteries or through the use of a port that can be plugged in anywhere.
A third accessory is a docking system. This allows your notebook to become a desktop while in your office. You simply connect your notebook to the docking station, which has a monitor, keyboard, mouse, and possibly Internet connection already attached to it.
