All About Ink and Toner Cartridges

Before you replace any ink or toner cartridges, you should become familiar with them so you’ll know why you have to replace them. Here are some important facts to keep in mind:

 

·        Ink cartridges: Ink cartridges often cost less and give good color printing. Ink cartridges work by spraying ink on a sheet of paper. Depending on type of printer, ink cartridges can come in black or color.

·        Toner cartridges: Toner cartridges are made for laser printers. They are housed in a metal or plastic container. The stuff that gets put on paper is a dry, powdery substance that is designed specially to stick to paper. Toner cartridges are easily replaced. Just take out the old one and put the new one in place. Most toner cartridges are black. Although, there are printers out there that use cartridges that deliver color.
