You and your companions, be it your family, or friends will enjoy an all day trip through the Mt. Evans Wilderness Area and the Phoenix Mine. This tour takes approximately eight hours and allows you to experience the area west of Denver from Clear Creek Canyon to Idaho Springs. You will ascend to the top of Mt. Evans and its 14,264 foot summit. You will observe Arctic tundra plants and 1,600-year-old trees as well as view large herds of bighorn sheep and mountain goats. The tour also includes exploring the Phoenix Gold Mine via the help of a real miner and offers you the opportunity to pan for gold afterwards.
