• North and Northwest Denver—
The two predominant neighborhoods in the northwest are Highland and Jefferson Park. About 12,000 people live in these communities. Homes in the Highland area are considered to be estate size and the area is known for its architecturally diverse buildings, and multicultural flair. Jefferson Park, just south of Highland, has a large number of residential communities. Points of interest in this area include Jefferson Park and INVESCO field at Mile High.

• Central City or Metro Denver—
The Lower Downtown District, or LoDo neighborhood, while famous for its more than 100 restaurants, 30 art galleries, and a variety of other clubs, entertainment, and shopping venues, is also well known for some pretty fabulous loft apartments, housing almost 2,200 residents.
Three miles north of the Central Business District is the Park Hill neighborhood with its wide, tree-lined community streets and many historic homes, which are open for tours annually.
