Espresso pods, also known as E.S.E., (Easy Serving Espresso), are sealed filters, much like tea bags, that contain the perfect amount of coffee, ground to the correct consistency and pre-packed. They are favored among coffee experts and barristas because they are quick and easy to use, they provide consistent results, and they boast little to no cleanup. Since they are prepackaged, they always make the perfect espresso and there are no grounds to clean up and dispose of.
