The E.S.E. systems are extremely simple to use, and they guarantee tasty results every time. In fact, they are so easy, Dr. Illy’s two-year-old grandchild makes espresso! Besides turning the machine on and filling it with water, there are only four steps to using the E.S.E. system:

1. Remove the pod from its package.
2. Place it into the filter – it will fit perfectly.
3. Insert the filter into the filter holder and lock it into place.
4. Push the button – your espresso will be ready in 25 to 30 seconds, at most.
