Coffee makers come in a variety of sizes. The size of a coffee maker refers to how many cups of coffee it can make at one time. Depending on how many people drink coffee in your home or office is a good starting place in determining what size is best for you. The following are the different sizes coffee makers come in.
· 12 cup: 12 cup coffee makers are made by most brands. If you are the only person in your family who drinks coffee or if a smaller amount is consumed by all the individual coffee drinkers in your home this size might not be right for you. It could result in a lot of wasted coffee. They are great choices however for individuals who enjoy their coffee throughout the day or for families who have several coffee drinkers that consume multiple cups a day. This size is also a great choice for offices that have several coffee drinkers.
· 10 cup: As with the 12 cup coffee maker the 10 cup is great for families or individuals who consume several cups a day. They are also good options for the non coffee drinker to have on hand when company is over. They are also great for smaller offices.
· 8 cup: An 8 cup coffee maker is the highest selling coffee maker size. It fits the needs of individuals as well as families with out making too much. It is also another great option for the non drinker who likes to have a coffee maker to accommodate houseguests.
· Individual: This size coffee maker is fairly new on the market. It is designed for making individual cups of coffee. A great choice for those who are single or the only coffee drinker in their family. Individuals use the pod method which involves allows your coffee to brew into either a small coffee pot or a mug. Most individual sized coffee makers take 3 minutes or less to brew a cup of coffee. So they are wonderful for those coffee drinkers with out a lot of time.
