More coffee bandits!

This is becoming a trend.

Police were searching on Thursday for a robber who used a hot cup of coffee to attack a convenience store clerk.

Police in this Minneapolis suburb said the suspect walked into a SuperAmerica late Tuesday night, got a cup of coffee, then threw it on the unsuspecting clerk, grabbed cash from the open register and drove off.

The clerk suffered minor burns to her face and neck but refused medical treatment.

The suspect is described as a white man in his early 20s, about 5-foot-10, wearing a gray T-shirt and a light-colored baseball cap.

These robbers are actually successfully wielding a beverage as a weapon! If it works so well, maybe I should try it. Annoyed with a coworker? Throw coffee at him. Don't like the divorce settlement? Throw coffee at the judge. Dog whizzes on the paper? Throw coffee on it.
