Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. said Wednesday that its fiscal second-quarter profit was virtually flat after an equity investment to acquire the rest of coffee company Keurig Inc.

Net income was flat at $2 million, or 25 cents per share, for the period ended April 8, versus $2 million, or 26 cents per share, a year ago.
