Mickey D's is finally shaking off the public relations fiasco of scalding that set them back a few million bucks and gave one lady a free ticket out of working for the rest of her life for having an uncomfortable lap for two weeks.

I don't really see this as having too adverse an affect on the coffee world. Of course people who enjoy fast food are going to like coffee, too. Of course they're going to buy a lot of coffee at McDonalds. And anyone who wants "real" or pretentious brands of coffee is probably not going anywhere near McDonalds.

You've got nothing to worry about, Starbucks.
