·        Navy Pier – Navy Pier serves the city today as a center of culture and recreation as well as having a facility for conventions. In the past it served freight and transportation companies that worked on Lake Michigan. It has even served in a military capacity during World War II. With its rich history and new attractions, it is no wonder it is Chicago’s most visited attraction. The 150-foot Ferris wheel is the most notable and visible attraction, but it is surrounded by a carousel and a miniature golf course. There are also indoor attractions like the Funhouse Maze, the Time Escape and the Children’s Museum. Navy Pier is home to the Chicago Shakespeare Theater, with its 500-seat courtyard theater and 200-seat flexible black box theater.
·        John Hancock Observatory - The John Hancock Center is one of Chicago's most well-known buildings. It is the 12th tallest building in the world with 100 floors. The observation deck is a top attraction for visitors. The famous Signature Room restaurant is located on the 95th & 96th floors.
·        Sears Tower - The view from the Skydeck on the 103rd floor of the Sears Tower is amazing! On a clear day, you can see 40-50 miles -- the city of Chicago and its beautiful architecture, Michigan, Indiana and Wisconsin.
·        Magnificent Mile - Your shopping experiences can range from upscale boutiques to discount outlet malls, and everything in between. The primary shopping strip in the city is the Magnificent Mile, which runs along north Michigan Avenue from the Chicago River to Oak Street. Here you’ll find department stores such as Bloomingdale’s, Lord & Taylor and Nordstrom, home furnishing retailers such as Crate & Barrel and Pottery Barn, jewelers such as Tiffany and Van Cleef & Arpels, big name apparel retailers such as Gap, Banana Republic and Ralph Lauren, plus a host of boutiques and specialty shops.
