The city itself is magnificent, just take a stroll down the famous “Magnificent Mile” on a brisk spring day and you’ll understand why so many love to call this fine city home. The Chicago skyline has a fantastic variety with great depth and representations from a rich history of architectural diversity. A cruise down the river gives a visitor just a taste of the incomparable richness of the fantastic architects who have made their mark on this city. This is a city that has been rebuilt not only physically, but from an image point of view. Chicago has long outgrown its “rep” as the home of the infamous Al Capone and the gangsters of the 1920’s. It is a city that has an unlimited array of options for the savvy traveler. You can shop, stroll through some of the finest art in the country, enjoy phenomenal museums, take in some of the best city parks ever designed and walk on the beach all in one city. And all of that can take place with in a few square miles…incredible! It will be a return event…no doubt, but let’s consider what to do on the debut!
