Tucked between Martinique and St. Vincent, halfway down the Eastern Caribbean chain, is the island of St. Lucia. This 27-mile long and 14-mile wide island, though small, is packed with rain forests, wild orchids, tropical birds, and endangered species. Also abundant are banana, coconut, mango, and papaya trees. St. Lucia’s people are warm and friendly, and visitors always enjoy the island’s quaint villages and open-air markets.

St. Lucia’s most famous landmark is the Pitons, twin peaks reaching to over 2,000 feet. Few bold climbers have dared to climb the peaks, but if you’re not a mountain climber, you can still enjoy the beauty of these mountains from many places on the island.

Plentiful and luxurious natural assets make St. Lucia a place where a vacationer’s dreams come true!
