Thanks in large part to pioneer Sandra Day O'Conner, women are prospering in legal careers on a scale not equaled in most other professions.
According to one new study done by the American Bar Association, 44 women hold general counsel or chief counsel positions in Fortune 500 companies, 71% of female lawyers are in private practice, and a majority of students entering law school are female.
It's just like Bart Simpson said: "It's great to see more chicks on the bench."
Now we just need them moving in on the statistics profession!
