Sao Paulo, Brazil is the largest city in South America, and the third largest city in the world. It is the economic center of Brazil as it is the industrial motivating force of the country. With a population of 17 million people, the residents of Sao Paulo engage unreservedly in urban pursuits. The theater in Sao Paulo is the best in Brazil.
Sao Paulo’s tropical climate is not quite as agreeable as other Brazilian cities; however, it is definitely warm enough compared to other areas in the world. The weather stays mild to warm nearly all year but is moderated by its altitude. Sao Paulo’s geography can be divided into three zones: a narrow coastal zone; a sudden mountain chain known as Serra do Mar; and the interior plateau.
Although the history of Sao Paulo arises from humble beginnings, the fact that today the city has surpassed its rival in Rio and become the most populated city in South America is testimony to all it has to offer. Today the city continues to grow and attract people to its limits.
