Selecting the right boat is very important because you don’t want to spend a few thousand of your money on something that will only end up lasting a couple of months.

When looking at a potential option, always ask the seller a lot of questions, if they are being over pushy to get it off their hands then I would just walk away. Such behaviour can be a sign of big problems they don’t want you to find out.

Where possible take a marine surveyor along and get them to check over any boats. They can look for any flaws that could overall cause major problems in the future, it is handy because they can recommend whether or not to make the purchase before parting with any money.
