After Breakfast- Begin your first day by fully immersing yourself in Belgian culture at the Grote Markt/Grand Place. There are plenty of items to buy and see.

After Lunch- Museum voor Moderne Kunst- Spend the rest of the afternoon perusing the eight underground floors of this modern art museum. It contains works by Belgian modernists, including: Marcel Broodthaers, Rik Wouters, and Rene Magritte.
Dinner- Au Stekerlapatte- The steak and spare ribs at this popular restaurant come highly recommended. The beer list is impressive and you can order wine by the centimeter.
After Dinner- Relax and unwind at one of the favorite after-work drinking spots, The Wild Geese. This lively pub is filled with wooden tables and benches and features live Jazz and Irish music on Wednesday night.
