Breakfast- L’Atelier de la Truffe Noire- For some first-class fast food, try this reasonably priced restaurant. It’s clean, modern, and friendly.

After Breakfast- You can’t leave Brussels without seeing the Atomium. This unique structure was built for the 1958 World Exhibition. It is a crystal molecule of iron atom that has been magnified billions of times. Take the lift to the top for a spectacular view of the city. Next, head over to Mini Europe, where you can see Europe’s most famous attractions in miniature form. Big Ben and the Eiffel tower stand just a few paces away from each other. You can also participate in several of the displays, such as the eruption of Mount Vesuvius or the tearing down of the Berlin Wall. There is a musical fireworks display on the weekends during the high season.

Lunch- Jacques- Seafood abounds at this popular café. The atmosphere is unpretentious and easy-going and the fish is skillfully prepared.

After Lunch- Check out the unique exhibits at the Scientastic Museum.   You’ll explore dozens of entertaining themes, such as physics, the five senses, and illusions.

Dinner- De Ultieme Hallucinatie-   This modern French restaurant is a good choice is you are looking for a quiet meal. Their specialties are fish and wild game, and the endive salad with smoked salmon is a must-have.

After Dinner- Café Kafka- After dinner, head over to Café Kafka for a lively evening. The young people who frequent this pub turn it into “party central” at night and on Sundays at 6pm there are free concerts. Café Kafka has an enormous range of vodka and the prices are very friendly.
