There are many interesting places to visit in Brussels. One notable attraction is the Atomium, a 335-foot tall monument that represents a unit cell of an iron crystal. It was built in 1958 for the Brussels World Fair. The Atomium is located in the Heysel Exhibition Park. Mini-Europe is an area of Brussels that contains replicas of famous buildings from countries in the European Union and is definitely an area worth visiting. Another spot to sightsee is the Grand Place. It is the central market place of Brussels and is surrounded by the Breadhouse, the city’s town hall, and several guild houses. This area is perhaps the most important tourist destination in all of Brussels.
