In the spring, the ARS Musica Festival is held. This event has developed quite a reputation all over Europe. Music from famous composers to young aspiring artists is played and celebrated in concerts that are quite unforgettable. Another worthwhile event is the Brussels film festival, which previews films from all over the world and sends them on the Cesars, the Oscars, and the Golden Globes. The Brussels Summer Festival is organized by the City Fine arts Aldermen and is hosted by many prestigious venues in and around Brussels. Concerts and light shows are preformed, the first of which is the well-known “La Monnaie/De Munt” which is held in Brussels Park. The Brussels Jazz Marathon is another fun event to take part in. This is one of the main cultural events that takes place in Brussels and attracts more than 250,000 jazz fans. More than 400 musicians perform on 60 stages throughout the city.
