Now that you have had four solid days of sightseeing, you are going to spend your fifth morning in Belgium relaxing and taking it all in in Bruges. Bruges is built among a network of canals, so this morning, you're going to tour the city by boat!

First, you will board a small boat for a half-hour tour. From your boat, you will enjoy picturesque sights of Bruges, including the Belfry Tower, City Hall, and the Church of Our Lady. If after 30 minutes you haven't had enough of boating around Brugge, you can take four more half-hour canal trips, as there are round-trip guided boat tours leaving from five different places in the city.

In the afternoon, take a boat trip from Bruges to Zeebrugge. Zeebrugge, connected to Bruges by a 7.5 mile canal, is an international port and a seaside resort, complete with a beach. On the beach are many hotels and cafes, so you may choose to stay here for the night. The Euro-Line vessel will transport you to Zeebrugge and back, and you can tour the seaport as well.

Back in Bruges for day six, you will view some of the most beautiful and aged architecture in Belgium, starting with the Belfry that house a carillon. Also make sure to visit the Church of Our Lady. This church took 200 years to build, and it has the tallest spire in Belgium! There are several museums for the history buff, and one of the most popular tourist spots is The Straffe Hendrik Brewery. This is a museum and brewery combined where visitors can witness traditional brewing methods and taste the famous Straffe Hendrik beer. Also, be sure to shop for Belgian chocolates in Bruges! Delicious!
