Twin Bed vs. Full Bed

·        The difference here comes down to SPACE! Do you want space in the “bed” or in the “bedroom?” With the dimensions of a Full Bed being 54” x 75” and the dimensions of a Twin Bed being 39” x 75”, the difference is clear cut. The length being the same, there is a width difference of 15” which can make a significant difference to most solo sleepers. Many experts recommend that even solo sleepers purchase the largest bed that they can reasonably afford and that their space will allow. Most sleepers are simply happier with more sleeping space. The determining factors could be different for every shopper, but the size of your bedroom and those coveted “15” inches could be two huge factors. Another really important thing to note here is length, as there is an option to go longer with a Twin Bed. The Extra-Long Twin Bed is a full 5” longer than both the Full Bed and the Twin Bed. So again, if you are a really tall sleeper or are planning on housing a basketball team in your future, you may want to consider this option for your little “nest!” You can always exercise the option of having two Twin Beds in one bedroom, whether it is a standard bedroom, a guest room or a child’s room. This gives you the flexibility to sleep two adults comfortably, while at the same time keeping your space broken-up in the bedroom. This is especially nice in a child’s bedroom or a teen’s bedroom. Gotta’ love those sleepovers! When it comes to options, the Twin Bed has far more to offer than the King, Queen, or Full Beds. You can go with a loft option, a bunk bed option, two twins or even pull the twins together for company to make a King Bed! All in all, if you are a solo sleeper looking to save space in an itty bitty apartment or a mother hen looking to fill the rooms of her nest with as many beds as possible, the Twin Bed may be an excellent choice for your nest!
