If you are considering purchasing a day bed, you should keep the following things in mind. They will help you know what questions you should ask before purchasing one.

 

·        Does the cost of the day bed include a trundle bed? Not all day beds come with a trundle included in the sticker price. You are often given the option to add a trundle bed for more money. If you need the trundle as part of your day bed it is important you find this out before the time of purchase. The cost of a trundle bed is usually no more than $100.

·        Be sure to find out if a mattress comes with your day bed. Certain beds do come with the mattress and others are sold separately. The average price of a day bed mattress is $200.

·        If you are getting a trundle bed you will also need a trundle mattress. These are usually the same price or a little lower than a day bed mattress.
