If you are a tall person shopping for a comfy bed, this is the best bet for you because you can sleep comfortably both diagonally and vertically. It generally comes with two separate half-width box springs and one mattress in order to facilitate moving.
• Eastern/Standard King – and yes, the Eastern and Standard are also the same; this is the king size bed that you will generally find if you walk into the average department store and ask to see a king size bed. It measures 76” wide x 80” long, which gives the sleeper(s) 18 inches more in width while maintaining the same length as a Queen bed. This gives each sleeper a total of 38” in total sleeping room. The Standard King, just as the California King comes with one mattress and two half-width box springs to accommodate moving.
