First, beware of bed manufacturers who offer “custom” beds and mattresses that are a few inches larger than the standard beds. This may sound exciting, but looking for bedding to fit these luxurious beds may turn this dream into a nightmare. Secondly, some manufactures have different measurements altogether for their “standard” sizes than the norm, so take a tape measure and notes as to the exact measurements that you are looking for so that you don’t become confused by all of the numbers once you begin looking.
