Even after you get your adjustable bed, you still should know the best way to lie in your bed for the best sleep you can get. Although adjustable beds are made to adjust to the contour of your body, you still could benefit from helpful tips about body positioning and other factors:
 
·        You need to create a great environment for sleeping. Develop good sleep habits and you’ll find you will get a better night of sleep every time.
·        How is your sleeping environment? Since you spend an average of eight hours on your bed you have to be certain the environment is conducive for sleeping. Eliminate noise, light, or anything else that might make you uncomfortable or worn out, forcing you not to get the rest you need.
·        Is the temperature in your bedroom at a comfortable level? If it is too cold you won’t be able to sleep because you will be shivering too much.
 
In addition to the above tips, if you try to keep regular hours where you normally go to bed at night, this will help your body prepare for sleep. Otherwise, you won’t be able to sleep right because your biological clock won’t know when it’s time to sleep or not.
 
Before you go to bed, make sure to get some exercise. This will help relieve the tension in your body and will help you to sleep. Try to exercise at least two hours before bed time but no sooner.
 
Don’t drink coffee. Coffee acts as a stimulant and forces you to stay awake. Also don’t smoke. Tests have shown that smokers take longer to sleep and don’t get the full sleep they are suppose to get.
