If you answered yes to these questions you may need to buy a new bed. That bed of yours just is not working for you much anymore. But you don’t want just any type of bed. How about a bed that can adjust to fit the contours of your back? You need an adjustable bed. But before you go out to buy one, you need to know more about them and how they work so you can get the right one. If you want to get a better night’s sleep and actually enjoy going to bed at night, here are some facts you need to know first:
· Adjustable beds: Obviously, an adjustable bed allows you to put your body in several different positions. For example, if you have a back problem, sleeping on an angle made be right for you. Having your legs propped up on a certain angle in relation to your upper back may be what you need.
· Mattress Types: A common mattress is made up of spring coils. These coils give the mattress its firmness. Many newer mattresses use steel coils, but these mattresses are more expensive.
· Mattress Quality: Besides the coils inside a mattress, the padding is important to. Typical mattress padding is made of materials that include polyurethane form, puffed-up polyester, or cotton batting. Some newer mattresses have padding in the middle of the mattress and use certain padding for insulation.
· Cover of Mattress: The cover of the mattress is usually made of polyester or a combination of cotton and polyester.
Mattress Foundation: Besides the regular mattress, there is usually a mattress that sits on the frame. This is known as box spring mattress. This type of mattress is made of a wooded frame with springs.
