While a whirlpool can be both fun and relaxing, there are also many other benefits, including medical, to using a whirlpool. Creating sensations that can range from a targeted deep-tissue massage to gentle full-body soothing experience, a whirlpool can invigorate, soothe, and relax an aching body.

Although a whirlpool is not guaranteed to cure all problems, many people have reported that their whirlpools have helped them with stress, muscle strains, aches and pains, arthritis, poor circulation, migraines, and many other issues.

A whirlpool also has several other health benefits resulting from the specific uses of the water temperatures.

-                     Hot water relaxes the body and soothes muscle tension. By both calming nerves and revitalizing the body, it is an excellent form of therapy.

-                     The use of both hot and cold water, called contrast hydrotherapy, reduces congestion and inflammation while also improving circulation, blood vessels, organ functions and digestion.

-                     Temperatures that mimic the human body’s temperature, ranging between 92 and 98 degrees, are used in the process of neutral hydrotherapy, which calms the nervous system and even treats insomnia.
