Why use a towel warmer?

The most obvious reason to use a towel warmer is to heat your towel while in the shower or bath. However, this is not the only thing that towel warmers are good for. Some of the benefits (including what was already mentioned) are:

- Warm towels. Towels can be left on some towel warmers all day or placed over them just before you enter the bath. As soon as you step out, you can enjoy the luxury of a warm towel.

- Fresh towels. Because the towel warmer also dries towels with heat when you are done using it, a towel used more than once dries quickly and stays fresh for several uses.

- Less laundry. The rack dries the towels quickly and keeps them fresh, so they won’t need to be washed all the time. They will keep from smelling musty and won’t have time to hang around wet and collect germs.

- Radiated heat. Keeps the bathroom (or other rooms including kitchens and laundry rooms) warm at a much cheaper rate than the gas or electric heating system in your house probably does.

- Mildew Control. The gentle heat of the towel warmer controls the moisture in the bathroom and keeps it from mildewing. Not only does your towel dry, but so does the whole area after the humidity of a shower or bath.

- Energy savings. The towel warmer is much cheaper than the use of a clothes dryer and the house’s heating system; yet it performs the same functions. It is very practical; a large towel warmer uses about half of the energy of a good hairdryer.

- Cozy clothing. Perhaps you like to heat your socks before you put them on, or maybe you just want to warm a baby’s blankets and clothes. The towel warmer is perfect for these jobs.

- Delicate drying. Delicates, bathing suits, and most other types of materials can be dried on the towel warmer gently and efficiently.

It is important to understand that towel warmers are not intended to make towels or garments hot to touch; rather, they are simply meant to warm and dry them. This is a great quality when warming clothing or drying delicates; you will never have to worry about scorching or shrinking.
