Bali’s most important cities are Singaraja, Denpasar (the capital), and Ubud (Bali’s cultural center). Many of the 3 million people that make up Bali’s population live in these large cities, and those who come to visit often find that many of the activities and attractions available to them are located in these locales. Other principal locations especially significant for the tourist industry are Kuta, Sanur, Seminyak, Nusa Dua, and Jimbaran. Each of these locations offers the visitor something new and exciting, so that anyone visiting Bali would have to stay for months in order to see and do all there that is awaiting them. Visit Ubud’s art galleries and Kutu’s beaches, and you’ll still have the rest of the island to explore.

If you are considering activities and attractions that you may try to visit while in Bali, you have plenty of options. Some of the favorites of those who have visited Bali are:
• Balinese Cultural Attractions such as the Bali Museum and the Ganesha Gallery.
• Balinese Tours of volcanoes, villages, forests, and more.
• Balinese Weddings where centuries of tradition and thrill are incorporated into a single ceremony.
• Balinese Music that demonstrates Bali’s complexity and beauty.
• Balinese Dances and Drama which may be ritual from years past or simply a “competition” between chaos and order.
