By the time a baby is six months old, he can keep his head level when pulled to a sitting position. He can also sit by himself without much support. He makes some vowel-consonant sounds and opens his mouth for the spoon. He will reach for and grab objects. He can roll over and back again, and he can copy some facial expressions. Six month olds can drink from a cup with some help, and they can hold a bottle. They can also make two-syllable sounds.
