Invitations are easy to find at any card store or chain discount store. More expensive stationery stores and boutiques like Crane and Company offer exquisite invitations on high-quality paper. Custom touches can be added. Some invitations found online have special decorative elements like ribbons or dried flowers. You can go as beautiful and elegant as you like! Invitations should be mailed 3-4 weeks before the date of the party. Besides the time, date, and place of the party, be sure to include an RSVP, directions, the gender of the baby if known, and where the mother-to-be is registered for gifts.
