Located just off Highway 290, you can choose from one of 85 great rooms and at the front of the complex you can wake up to views of the nearby river. 3) Another highly recommended hotel to stay in and for a reasonable price is Hawthorn Suites Ltd; it is located just two miles from the Bergstrom International Airport and 4 miles from downtown Austin. The suites are spacious with a separate living area and you are treated to a real home atmosphere when you will have internet access, coffee/tea market, telephone and electronic door locks. You will also have a hair dryer, iron/ironing board, cable or satellite TV with VCR and microwave. 4) The Wellesley Inn and Suites is a very quiet retreat that is located off a very busy interstate highway. You will be greeted by a cheery red and beige décor and this two storey hotel displays Texas flag and other typical state mementos and it is located just a few blocks away from the Texas State Capitol building. There are 142 guest rooms available and seven suites which offers a fully equipped kitchen where you can create your own meals, refrigerator, microwave and coffee making facilities. This Inn is ideal for business trips and families and during the warmer months, you can enjoy the short walk to the Congress Avenue Bridge which is home to thousands of Mexican tail bats.
