This is more of a rare species of Bonsai, but they make a beautiful addition to any collection. Their young leaves are used in oriental cooking as a garnish. Despite what its name may suggest, this tree is not kin to peppers in any way, but instead to lemons. The biggest thing you have to remember if you are going to be getting one of these indoor Bonsais is you will be watering them a lot. They like just about any reason for a drink. They want water after being repotted and before they bear fruit or if you move them. Pretty much whenever. Because of this you will want to get your indoor Bonsai a deeper pot than you would for most. They also like the light, but not direct light. I found it very difficult to find information on this particular Bonsai, just because it is such a rare species. For this reason I would not recommend it to a beginner, even though it is pretty hardy.
