I suppose it's not unheard of, but this still seems strange.

IT'S a darn fine piece of machinery - knitting machinery.

Art graduate Lauren Porter knitted a Ferrari for her honours degree at Bath Spa University.

The classic red bodywork consists of 250 squares of garter stitch made by Lauren and 20 family members and friends. The windows are V-shaped stocking stitch, while the details are crochet and the badge is embroidered.

I don't see why they could put up a picture of the damn thing!
