Knitters and bloggers

Hundreds of knitter-bloggers — Americans, Brits, Kiwis, Japanese, French, Germans, Brazilians, Africans and Australians — have signed on to start and finish a project of their choosing by July 9.

There's even a Texan on the team: Michelle Kutrybala, a mother of five who lives in El Paso.

"I knit anyplace I can," says Kutrybala. "While the kids watch TV. When sports are on. Waiting for doctors' appointments (I have a ton of appointments). Standing in line — any line. Waiting for kids to get out of school. At school events when I'm not needed."

How funny. I think we should call them Knoggers.
