Nice to see some grassroots goings-on with arts and crafts.
Traditional Arts Indiana, a partnership of Indiana University’s Folklore and Ethnomusicology Department and the Indiana Arts Commission along with local organizers will host a series of Community Specialist Training workshops along the I-69 Heritage Corridor April 24, May 1 and May 5. All workshops are free. The workshops are designed to train individuals on the traditional arts and crafts that are prevalent in Eastern Indiana and a new movement to preserve its heritage.
What exactly is the 'heritage' of Indiana, though? Something to do with potatos? No wait, that's Idaho.
